Jayam Special School is organizing a Mother’s Day Celebration on Sunday, 11 May 2025. The programme is titled “Devoted Mother Award” in memory of R. Chandara Bai.
The Chief Guests for the event are Ms. Vijayalakshmi Rao and Mr. Krishnamurthy Rao.
The programme included participation from the mothers of students with Special Needs from the Padi and Ayappakkam branches. Mothers shared stories about their children’s life journeys, highlighting their experiences, struggles, sacrifices, and the love and care they have given while raising their children with special needs. These inspiring stories were presented as part of a competition to recognize the strength, patience, and dedication of mothers.
The best three stories were selected, and each winner received a cash prize of ₹10,000. All participating mothers received special participation gifts as a token of appreciation and gratitude.
This meaningful and memorable event was generously supported by Ms. Vijayalakshmi Rao and Mr. Krishnamurthy Rao.
